PSP appointed official logistics partnership with 2010 Etchells World Championships

Dublin, Ireland

PSP have been appointed official logistics partner for the Etchells 2010 World Championships in Dublin, due to take place between 19-28 August 2010.
Hampshire-based PSP (Premier Shipping and Packing) has strengthened its links with the sport of sailing by being appointed as an official logistics partner for the Etchells 2010 World Championships at Howth Yacht Club, Dublin, Ireland.

PSP will be shipping boats for teams based in the USA and Australia directly into Dublin Port in 40ft containers before delivering them to Howth Marina, outside the Irish capital, to be met by their owners.

It is the second recent partnership to be formed between PSP and the sport, after PSP was appointed official logistics supplier to ISAF, the world sailing body, at the beginning of the year.

PSP Managing Director, Frank Dixie, said: "We're big supporters of the sport of sailing and we're delighted to be an official logistics partner for this top event. With Etchells and ISAF before it, we have really strengthened our ties with the sport."

Berchmans Gannon, Chairman of Etchells Worlds 2010 Organising Committee, said: "We were impressed by the flexible approach PSP took to our very specific needs for the Etchells World Championships in August and their willingness to work with us in smoothing out the logistics of getting boats from various parts of the world to Howth in time for this prestige event.
It promises to be a very workable and worthwhile partnership."

PSP provides worldwide freight forwarding, express courier services, packing and boat transportation services.
