Turkish Coaches Get On The Race Course And Connect To Sailing

Rockley International, one of ISAF's Connect to Sailing Partners, has successfully completed a Racing Coach Training course for the Turkish Sailing Federation in Bodrum, Turkey.

Rockley International's Adam Bowers spent 11 days in Bodrum delivering the course. "On first impressions they have a very good group of potential racing coaches." Bowers commented and was delighted with the outcome of a very productive course.

The course covered all aspects of race coaching, from boat speed and rig tuning to briefing and debriefing skills. The course has enabled the race coaches to create individual development plans for their regions within Turkey and has coordinated a national approach to race training.
