2003 Trofeo Roberto Trombini

A Perfect 8-10 knots greeted competitors for the first day of the ISAF Grade 1 Trofeo Challenge Roberto Trombini, underway in Ravenna, Italy. An intense day that saw 9 flights of round-robin completed, and an unbeaten James SPITHILL.
Spithill is making a habit of beating the world's established, and if he continues in this dominating way, will not only challenge the world's best at the ISAF Match Racing World Championship next month, but the overall lead in the ISAF World Match Race Rankings, a position he has never held.

Paulo CIAN (ITA), on good form at the moment currently lies second behind Spithill on 6 wins, only losing to the Australian.

Current flight results are available on the event website at the address below.
