Optimist North American Championship
Valle de Bravo

Baepi LACATIVA (BRA) and Sean BOUCHARD (BER) consolidated their lead as their overnight rivals struggled to find consistency in the two races held.
Best results of the day were from Sam WILLIAMS (USA) and Armando ZULIAN (ARG) who should benefit when the first discard is taken. Andrew LEWIS (TRI) may also benefit by discarding a poor Race 4.

The New Zealanders had a good day with Carl EVANS moving into third place and top girl Susannah PYATT into 5th.

Day 3 was devoted to the very popular Team-Racing Championship. In the final Bermuda overcame Mexico, with Argentina taking third over-all and USA. third North American place.
