Glenn DARDEN and his team aboard Le Glide finished one-two on Sunday to stage a come from behind victory. Dave HAMMETT on DnA and Bernie NAUTA with his crew on Weekend at Bernies rounded out the top three.
49 boats from four nations, Denmark, France, Sweden and the USA are registered to compete at the 2003 J/80 World Championships, which kicks off on Saturday. The event will be hosted by the Fort Worth Boat Club in Texas USA. The entries include defending champions Pascal and Laurent ABIGNOLI, the only team from France whose impressive team also includes Xavier ROHART, the 2003 Star World Champion who claimed his title at the recent ISAF World Championship in Cadiz.
