The final day of Scandinavian Race week turned out to be a perfect day for sailing today. A light but stable breeze saw all classes sail four races following the finals of the 49er World Cup part of the event.
It only took two races for the Danes in the 49'er DEN 27 Peter and Søren HANSEN to win the Superfinal of the World Cup series regatta. DANES Michael HESTBÆK and Dennis DENGSØ were tied with Norwegians Christoffer SUNDBY and Frode BORIM for second place, but the Norwegians win of the first elimination race secured their second place.
The 49'ers are now back to fleet racing in the Scandinavian Race Week together with the other classes who had completed two races by 11:30. Considering the two windy days with postponed racing for everybody but the 49'ers, racing late in the evening, the classes all had 6 races.
