Australian Yachting Awards

The finalists for the 2003 Australian Yachting Awards have been announced. This year's gala event will be held at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron on Saturday 19 July 2003.

The presentation night will toast the country's best sailors, volunteers and media reporters.

The 2003 Australian Yachting Award finalists are:

Male Sailor of the Year Finalists

  • Steve Allen
  • Glenn Ashby
  • Darren Bundock and John Forbes
  • Nick Moloney

Female Sailor of the Year Finalists

  • Adrienne Cahalan
  • Sarah Blanck
  • Jenny Armstrong and Belinda Stowell
  • Melanie Dennison, Fiona Herbert and Caroline Aders

P&O Nedlloyd Disabled Sailor of the Year Finalists

  • Paul Borg
  • Lindsay Dalmon

P&O Nedlloyd Youth Sailor of the Year Finalists

  • Steven Thomas
  • Marissa Van Dongen and Josh Mott
  • Krystal Weir
  • Elise Rechichi and Rayshele Martin
  • Nathan Outteridge and Ayden Menzies

The winners of the Male, Female, Disabled and Youth Sailor of the Year categories will be announced on the evening of the Awards presentation.

Media Award

Congratulations to Paul PASCOE, who also acts as an IT/website consultant to ISAF, and Bob ROSS who have been named as Media Award winners. They will be honoured with the title at the Awards presentation.
