Yesterday, Albert KOOIJMAN (NED) showed why he is considered one of the big favourites for the title.
After their win in the last race of Tuesday, the team of Albert KOOIJMAN won the two races that were sailed on Wednesday.

The wind was about 12 knots and coming from the west-northwest. Again there were a couple of shifts of about 10-20 degrees.

The Brazilians continued to show their good speed by sailing a 2nd and a 4th.

However, the overall lead is still in the hands of Lorenzo BRESSANI of italy.

Racing started on Monday, and will conclude on Friday 22 August, with a 9 race series scheduled. After yesterday's opening race 5, the discard came into play and re-jigged the overnight positions a little.
