J105 North American Regatta
San Francisco

Bold Forbes skippered by Ed CUMMINS and Jack FRANCO won both course races in the Treasure Island race area yesterday to take over the lead in the 2003 J-105 North American Regatta.
"The regatta is not over yet, but we are very pleased with the results today, particularly coming from outside the Bay," said Cummins who is from Newport Beach, CA.

Local boats Good Timin' skippered by Chris PERKINS from San Francisco, St. Francis YC and Nantucket Sleighride (Peter WAGNER, Atherton CA, St. Francis YC), are close behind. With only 7 points separating the top 3 boats, anything could happen before the end of the regatta on Sunday.

As Peter WAGNER, the skipper of Nantucket Sleighride, says: "we're happy to be consistent so far, but it's a long regatta."

Today the racing action moves to the city front with 1 long race up and down the city front that will start at 11 am, finishing off the St. Francis race deck.
