Ladies Match Cup 2005
Langenargen, Germany

Some of the World's top women match racers will head to Langenargen, Germany at the end of the month for the first ever ISAF Grade 1 Ladies Match Cup, the final ISAF Grade 1 event before the ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship in October.
Taking place from the 29 September-2 October during the boat fair INTERBOOT, the Ladies Match Cup will give spectators a close up of the manoeuvres, speed and tactical battles which typify top quality match racing.

'The Voice' Christoph SCHUMANN will comment on the on-the-water action live. He is Germany's number one commentator and has the ability to explain in very clear terms what is happening out on the water.

Thanks to the great race management of the Yacht Club Langenargen, Lake Constance now hosts two ISAF Grade 1 Match Racing events, the other being Match Race Germany, won this year by Peter GILMOUR (AUS).

Already confirmed for the event are France's Marie FAURE and Anne-Claire LE BERRE, Anjy SAHLBERG, Malin SVEDMYR and Malin KÄLLSTRÖM from Sweden as well as Denmark's Annette STROEM and Italy's Lorenza MARIANI.

On Thursday 29 September the training phase gets underway before the round robin begins on Friday with the finals set for Sunday 2 October.
