Teaching Sailing Conference Set For Singapore

Teaching Sailing Worldwide ISSA Conference 2005

The International Sailing Schools Association (ISSA) is holding a Teaching Sailing Worldwide conference on 5 November in Singapore. The conference aims to bring together prominent local and international experts in sailing education and includes a presentation from the Chairman of the ISAF Youth and Development Committee Ross ROBSON (RSA).
Created in 1969, ISSA is a non-profit organization who aims to support and promote sailing institutions and develop the sport of sailing through teaching at all levels. The conference will take place at the River View Hotel in Singapore and is preceded by the ISSA AGM.

At 1000 hours local time Steve COLGATE from the Offshore Sailing School will opening the Teaching Sailing Worldwide conference. Other speakers include the High Performance Manager for Singapore Sailing Federation, Andrew SANDERS, David GREEN from the United Kingdom Sailing Academy (UKSA), Terry WISE from the Pacific Sailing School and Chairman of the ISAF Youth and Development Committee Ross ROBSON.

At the end of the conference Martin PRYOR will lead an open forum focussing on networking for the future.

The ISAF Annual Conference is also being held in Singapore from 3-13 November.
