Alpe Adria Sailing Tour

City Of Aquileia, skippered by Marco Augelli, was first to cross the finish line for leg four of the Alpe Adria Sailing Tour.
The start, at midday was in a very light wind of 4 knots from the northwest in front of Porto San Rocco,

Mitjia Kosmina was the first to take the lead, taking a course closer to the coast, followed by former Amer Sport One crewman Stefano Rizzi and America's Cup helm Peter Holmberg.

Although there was very little wind, the 12 Solaris 36 one designs still made good of the weather conditions.

But at the first mark off Piran, it was Mitjia Kosmina's Magic Sailing Team who arrived first, followed by Scor Team (Hajdinjak), BMW Tomic (Peter Holmberg), Clementei (Stefano Rizzi) and Barcolana (Nevio Sabadin).

Remarkably eventual winner Marco Augelli rounded this mark in ninth, but gained by sailing close to the coast.
