Formula Windsurfing European Championship
Dournenez

On Day two of the event yesterday, the first two races for the women, and first men's race were sailed in the afternoon when the wind finally emerged on a hot day on France's west Coast.
Whilst the women completed two races in the late afternoon, breeze, the men were sent ashore after some general recalls to await their turn in the building breeze. In the shifty 10-12 knots of the first race, Christine Becker (GER) currently leads with some consistant and fast siling in the challenging conditions.

In race one, Christine Johnson (GBR), currently second overall, showed blistering pace, winning the first race easily ahead of Becker, who took the second. Dorota Staszewska (POL) is third after the first day's racing with a fifth and a third place.

The men only had one race yesterday, which was won by Wojtek Brzozowski (POL).

The forecast for today's sailing is more promising
