The French trio of Bruno JOURDREN, Jerve LARHANT and Nicolas VIMONT VICARY held on to overall Sonar lead, but it's very close at the top ahead of the final day of racing at the Paralympic Sailing Competition.
Frenchmen Bruno JOURDREN, Jerve LARHANT and Nicolas VIMONT VICARY had their worst day of the series in Qingdao today, but still maintained their position at the top of the leaderboard thanks to their performances earlier in the week. With 10, 5, 8 scores in today's three races, the French team have 21 points with two races of the series remaining.

Australia's Colin HARRISON, Russel BOADEN and Graeme MARTIN remain in second place overall, but it could have been even better if they had not crossed the starting line of race nine early and been scored OCS. That ended off a very up and down day for the Australians, who had earlier won race seven and then finished 10th in race eight. They are just three points behind the French trio in the overall standings on 24 points.

Jens KROKER, Robert PREM and Siegmund MAINKA of Germany are just two points behind the Australians in third place overall after 5, 2, 9 scores today. The Greek team of Vasilis CHRISTOFOROU, Theodoris ALEXAS and Nikolaos PATERAKIS is just one point further back, with Norway's Jostein STORDAHL, Per Eugen KRISTIANSEN and Aleksxander WANG-HANSEN a single point behind them.

With just seven points covering these top five crews, tomorrow's final two races are perfectly poised to provide a thrilling finale to the 2008 Paralympic Sailing Competition.
