The Notice of Race for the 2005 ISAF Grade W Laser Radial World Championship taking place in Fortaleza, Brazil from 2-9 December is now available on the class website
Racing at the first Worlds since the Laser Radial was chosen as the Olympic equipment for the Women's One Person Dinghy event will begin on Sunday 4 December with two qualifying races scheduled per day through to Tuesday 6 December. The three day final series will follow this with the World Champion decided on Friday 9 December. The Men's Worlds will run alongside the Women's.

The Laser Radial Youth World Championship will follow the conclusion of the Men's and Women's Championship, taking place from 10-17 December.

Last year Michael BLACKBURN (AUS) dominated the Championship held in Brisbane, Australia, finishing on a perfect nine points. 2003 ISAF Youth World silver medallist Krystal WEIR (AUS) was almost as impressive in the women's fleet, scoring seven bullets in ten races to finish a clear winner. France's Jean Baptiste BERNAZ won the Youth title and this year went on to take second place in the Laser at the Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship in Busan, Korea.
