The final version of the Notice of Race for the 2008 Paralympic Sailing Competition is now available to download from the ISAF Paralympic microsite.
The Notice of Race states the key conditions for the three sailing events at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, which will take place at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center from 6-17 September. Included in the Notice of Race are details on the rules, regulations, entry and qualification guidelines, format, scoring, schedule, venue and courses that will be used to decide the sailing medallists of the 2008 Paralympic Games.

Schedule and Scoring
The Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games Sailing Competition will take place at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center in Qingdao, located in the Shandong province of China, approximately 800 kilometres southeast of Beijing. Racing is scheduled to take place from 8-13 September. Eleven races are scheduled for each of the three events: the one person keelboat - 2.4 Metre; the two person keelboat - SUKD18; and the three person keelboat - Sonar.
Qingdao, as one of the co-host cities of the Beijing Paralympic Games, will be holding its own Launching and Farewell Ceremonies. These will take place on the 7 September and the 13 September respectively.
The Notice of Race contains details on boat identification and advertising. To accompany the Notice of Race in this these respects, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Manufacturers Identification Guidelines and IFDS guidelines for Decal Application to Mainsails have been published and are available to download from the ISAF Paralympic microsite.
