Seven of the 15 scheduled round robin flights were sailed yesterday with NEVGODNIKOV dominating in his matches against Jesper RADICH (DEN), Jordi CALAFAT (ESP), Manuel WEILLER (ESP) and Gustavo BENAVENT (ESP). However RADICH came back strongly in his four other matches, winning them all to move up to second place. Simon MINOPRIO (NZL) and Rasmus VILTOFT (DEN) lie third and fourth respectively, both on 3-1 records.

Of the Spanish teams, both Jordi CALAFAT and Juan Luis PÁEZ managed two wins from their four matches, with the pair set to meet each other in the remaining eight round robin flights today.

The top two classified skippers will pass directly to the semi finals, whilst the third to sixth place sailors will sail a repechage in order to fill the remaining two semi final slots.
