The Club Marine Sail Boat Show is on this weekend Saturday & Sunday the 20th - 21st of April 2002. The show is Melbourne's leading display of sail boats, chandlery, clothing and books.

It provides for everyone from the racing enthusiast to those who just like 'mucking' around in boats or who would like to develop their interest in boating.

The show opens at 10am ~ 6pm each day & features a full range of sailing boats, in water Sail Boat display, kitesurfing exhibitions, dinghies & catamarans on the beach, sailing holidays / boatshow alley, sailing schools, access dinghies, model yachts and search & rescue demonstrations and a celebrity model yacht regatta.

Another feature of the show is "Come Try Sailing" - the show provides the younger (and not so young) potential sailors the opportunity to go for a sail in a dinghy known as the Optimist class. In a supervised environment in the marina, children can experience sailing for the 1st time out on the water - bring your kids along and introduce them to this terrific sport.

It will be a fun weekend for everyone with entertainment, BBQ, meals & refreshments. Entry is $5 for adults inc gst and children under 16 receive free entry. All visitors have the chance to win a 5 night bareboat Sunsail Whitsunday Holiday for up to 6 people.
