Results Unchanged From Yesterday Except For 49er Class

According to our source in Hyeres, only one race was held today for the 49er class, and no racing for any of the other classes. Racing was finally abandoned for the day at 14:00 hours.
Paul Goodison (GBR) therefore had a sweet victory in the Laser class over five times World Champion Robert Scheidt (BRA). Karl Suneson (SWE) was not far behind in third position.

Sydney 2000 Olympic Gold medallist Alessandra Sensini (ITA) maintained a one point lead over Yin Jian (CHN), to win the Mistral Women's fleet and in third place was Sandrine Nuvolone (FRA).

Alexandre Guyader (FRA) won the Mistral men. Britain's Dominic Tidey took second position overall, eight points clear of Nicolas Bedou (FRA) in third.

Damien Séguin (FRA) won the 2.4MR class, with Smith (GBR) second on 21 pts and Reichl (GER) third on 26 pts.

Llaca/Rios/Garces (ESP) won the new Yngling Olympic class, with Azon/Garcia/Cuadras (ESP) in second and Robertson/Leask/Aytons (GBR) in third.

Mateusz Kusznierewicz (POL) has won the Finn class. Second finished Florent Guillaume (FRA) and third 2001 European Champions Emilios Papathanasiou (GRE).

2001 470 Women's World Champions Bekatorou/Tsoulfa (GRE) climbed into the lead throughout the week, Kornizki/Bouskila (ISR) and Petitjean/Douroux (FRA) were just three points behind, in second and third positions respectively

In the 470 men Wilmot/Page (AUS) won with a slim lead over Molund/Andersson (SWE), with Conte/De La Fuente (ARG) in third.

It was really close for first and second in the Tornado class. Finally the home team of Backes/Voiron (FRA) beat Bundock/Forbes (AUS) by one point and Mourniac/Cuzon (FRA) finished third.

The final 49er results were not posted at the time of writing, but will be available soon on the event website.
