Optimist European Championship

After a windless Tuesday racing was possible on Wednesday and three races were completed.

In the boys event reigning champion Joaquin Blanco (ESP) moved into a narrow lead following a further three races. Most sailors had very mixed results with no one managing to stay in single figures in all races, and the leaderboard remains very open. Results in the girls event were more consistent. Alessandra Ferlich (ITA) leads on 19 points. Day 1 leader Tina Mihelic (CRO) incurred a black flag disqualification in race 5 but remains in second place tied with Nordic champion Rebecka Harding (SWE).
