Dragon Gold Cup
Alan Yacht Club

Yesterday's concluding race started in about 4 m/s, but during the day the wind was shifting a lot and sometimes almost died out.
The Race Committee were finally forced to shorten the course.

Yesterday's winner was FIN 46, helmed by Mikko Jaatinen. Another Finn, Freddy Markelin in FIN 75, was second and jumped up to third place overall, just one point in front of the German Harm Müller-Spreer in GER 950.

The overall winner of the PBS Navision Dragon Gold Cup was Thomas Müller, Mario Wagner and Björn Oesterreich from Germany in GER 983. They had a fantastic series with places 5, 2, 2, 3 and finally 36. Although they didn't do so well yesterday, their lead going into the final race was big enough for them to claim the PBS Navision Dragon Gold Cup.

Second over all is the Dutch boat NED 247, Fred Imhoff, Richard van Rij and Rudy den Outer. They also had a very good series with places 4, 14, 1, 10 and 17.
