The Melia Castilla Hotel Madrid is located in the modern commercial and financial district of Madrid, parallel to Madrid's main boulevard, Paseo De La Castellana. It is just minutes away from IFEMA Trade Exhibition Centre, the historical centre of the city.
All delegates, Council and Committee Members as listed in the ISAF Yearbook 2008, are expected to attend the ISAF Annual Conference. No advance registration is required but please inform the ISAF Secretariat at www.sailing.org/contactcommittees if you are unable to attend.
Delegates must sign in and collect their name badges from the ISAF reception desk at the conference venue which will be open from 09:00, Thursday 6 November. Only delegates with ISAF name badges will have access to the ISAF Meetings.
Observers are welcome to attend meetings where permitted but must complete an Observer Registration Form in advance and return it by email or fax to the ISAF Secretariat. All forms received by the ISAF Secretariat will be acknowledged. The deadline for Observer Registration (including Class Representatives to the ISAF Classes Meeting) is 10 October 2008.

Delegates and Observers are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Internet access will be available via cable in the hotel guest rooms of the Hotel Melia Castilla. Cables can be hired direct from the hotel for a one off charge of 7 euros.
