The winner of the first racing day for Division "A" was Pasquale Landolfi's "Brava Q8", with Antonio Sodomigliori as skipper, and Paul Cayard as tactician. In the same division, Lorenzo Bressani's Grand Soleil "Wind" won the second place, and, in third place, was George Andreadis' "Atalanti XIV".

"Okyalos XII" (an IMX 40 designed by Niels Jeppesen) was the winner for "B" division; the second place went to Daniele Taglialegne's "X-Mc2", and, in third place, Manfredo Toninelli aboard "Team Revolution".

Today (Tuesday 21st May) yachts are racing in an Offshore Race of more than 170 miles. The Race Committee have placed a mark in front of Naples's Molosiglio, in order to allow the Neapolitan population and sportsmen to admire the yachts passing the mark.
