Courses Des Phares

The VMG (Velocity Made Good), are the speed of approach of the boats towards their respective course marks, and at midday this is the following: 9.3 knots for Fujifilm. 8.3 knots for Bonduelle.
Bonduelle, in four hours, has conceded 7 miles to Fujifilm. Stop for Foncia who are making a technical stopover in Cascais, following its stranding this morning on a sand bank. 18.2 knots for Covefi Bank which goes downwind under genaker along the coast of Portugal. In the hour which comes, it will cross Fujifilm then Bonduelle. But the difference in longitude will mean they won't see each other.

Just four boats are still competing, six having been forced to retire due to damage from the extreme weather conditions encountered at the beginning of the race.

1 Fujifilm 611 miles to the Fasnet marker, Ireland
2 Bonduelle 684 miles to the Fasnet marker, Ireland
