Liz Baylis is the New World Champion!

Liz Baylis (USA) has defeated Marie Bjorling (SWE) ISAF World Ranked Number One by 2 flights to 1 in the final of the ISAF Womens Match Racing World Championship.

Earlier in the week Bjorling was having things all her own way winning the first stage round robin, and the Quarter Final round robin, then obviously her semi-finals to go through to the final. However showing great tenacity and sound decision making it was Liz Baylis (USA) and team that took the title by winning the Final yesterday.
