If the opening day at the Laser Europeans was tough it can be said that the second was even more difficult.
With unstable and fragile winds only one race per fleet was completed in Split, Croatia in a warm 32 degrees,
The Race Committee did not waste anytime sending the fleet home with the decision make at 16:30.
There were minimal mistakes in the Women's Laser Radial as Marit Bouwmeester (NED) continues to hold the lead following a second place. Svenja Weger (GER) finished second in her fleets only race and trails the Dutch racer. Chloe Martin (GBR) is third overall.
In the Laser many of the top racers chose the right side of the course which turned out to be the least favourable. Nick Thompson (GBR) now holds the lead followed by Robert Scheidt (BRA) and Francesco Marrai (ITA).
Racing on Wednesday 11 June will bring the qualification period to a close.
