Tasar World Championship
Cascade Locks, USA

The Tasar World Championships held on Cascade Locks, USA concluded over the weekend with sailors from Seattle Yacht Club taking top honours.
Across the 14-race series it was Anthony Boscolo and Haley Lane (USA) who took the gold medal after a steady week of racing. Following them in second is Michael Karas and Molly Jackson with Dalton and Lindsey Bergan completing the podium.

Boscolo and Lane started tremendously well taking the first three race wins which gave them a strong platform to work with throughout the series. "I could of never imagined racing going the way it did," said Boscolo on the final day. "I was hoping that we could have got a top ten but then we started off doing really well then we had to figure out how to hang onto it for five days of racing.

"I don't think we had expectations to be there [at the top] and so we were just like, 'let's just not stress and go racing'. One of the days we were a little stressed but for the rest of the days we weren't so stressed."

Lane added, "It was helpful that everyone behind us was a really good friend of ours so even if they beat us we'd have been happy for them."
