Mistral European Championship
Lake Neusiedl

It was another windy day for the competitors at the Mistral Europeans on lake Neusiedl and a further two races were sailed.

Alessandra Sensini (ITA) continues to lead the class in the women's fleet and has a handy twelve-point gap between herself and Lise Vidal (FRA). Natasha Sturges (GBR) with a second and fifth is one place ahead of Faustine Merret (FRA), who is in fourth place.

Although consistency seems to be the key to the event, Przemek Myarzinski (POL), with a stunning run of five wins out of five in the windier weather over the last two days, is steadily climbing the leader board. Only his lighter weather results seem to have let him down earlier in the week.

Alexandre Guyader (FRA) continues to head up the men's fleet from Gal Fridman (ISR), although points are close as there is only a four-point margin between silver and bronze medal positions.

With three races left to sail over the last two days of the championship, tension is mounting in what is proving for many to be a challenging and difficult championship.
