The 2013 ISAF-Mid Year Meeting has come to a close in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Meetings of the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, Events Committee, ISAF Council and the committee Chairmen took place over four days with numerous subjects about the sport discussed.
The first full meetings of the ISAF Council since the elections in November 2012, this was an opportunity for the Council Members to share experiences, challenges and goals from their groups of nations. The Executive Committee will evaluate their reports to help guide the strategy of ISAF over the next four years.
The Committee Chairmen's meeting included an overview of their roles and responibilities and presentations by each member about the work and priorities of their committees and sub-committees.
For the first time, the ISAF Council meeting was streamed live on the internet, thanks to our sponsors, sportsXstream. Simulatneous translation services enabled delegates to listen and comment in English, French or Spanish.
Minutes of the decisions and confirmation of the decisions made will be published on the ISAF website in due course.
The 2013 ISAF Annual Conference will be held in Muscat, Oman in November. More information about the ISAF meetings can be found at www.sailing.org/meetings/index.php
