"It would annoy him a bit, but he's gonna be really proud as well," said Just.
"He sails in a slightly different way. I like light winds, he likes more medium, but yeah, we're sort of the same sailors."
His father, Cor Van Aanholt (AHO), competed against Olympic champions Ben Ainslie (GBR) and Robert Scheidt (BRA) in the Laser class in Sydney and also carried the Dutch Antilles flag at the Opening Ceremony.
"I'm happy that he has the privilege to participate in such an event," said Cor. "It's an experience of a lifetime, having an opening ceremony and other kids from around the world."
At 14, Just is one of the youngest sailors in the Youth Olympic regatta, but he believes he has a shot at success.
"I think I'm quite heavy for these conditions, 62kg. But there are guys heavier than me. Some are 68kgs, so I'm actually quite a good weight," said Just.
"If I pace myself and average right, I hope to at least get a top 10 finish."
