While sailing has taken her around the globe, she confesses she loves all sports.
The young Austrian also enjoys taking part in skiing, soccer, motorcycling and volleyball.
She says the most influential person in her career is her father.
She loves to play piano when she's not out on the water.
Vadlau hopes to one day qualify as a paediatrician, but not before she fulfils a lifelong dream of grabbing gold at an Olympic Games.
