London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition
Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain

Light winds are expected today with high pressure over Great Britain and at the moment it's not looking good for racing.

The Men's 470 Medal Race is scheduled for 13:00 local time and in accordance with point 3.6 of ISAF's Fleet Racing Race Management Policy, Races will not be started in less than an average of 4 knots of wind established over the entire course area. This lower limit may be higher if there is strong current in the racing area.

The cut off time for racing is at 16:30.

Places 5-8 will also be decided today and start racing, all being well, at 12:00 on the Portland Harbour before switching to the Nothe Course after the Men's 470.
