The second day of racing at the London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition at Weymouth and Portland will see moderate south westerly 15 knot breeze with gusts of up to 20 knots.
Fine and sunny conditions are on the cards however there is a possibility of isolated showers. Rain is expected this evening and overnight.
The 49ers will open the days racing at 12:00 on the Nothe course with two races and Australia's Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen will want to start strongly in a fleet where they are favourites to win gold.
On Weymouth Bay South the Lasers and Radials will get underway at 12:00 local time and will see Paul Goodison (GBR) and Tom Slingsby (AUS) will go head to head and in the Radial favourite Marit Bouwmeester (NED) will open her campaign
Two more races in the Finn class begin at 14:00 on Weymouth Bay West where Jonas Hogh-Christensen (DEN) will be aiming to consolidate his two-point lead over Olympic champion Ben Ainslie (GBR).
In the Star class, Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada (BRA) will try to extend their three-point lead over Ireland's Peter O'Leary and David Burrows.
In the second session of round-robin racing in the women's match racing, Spain's Tamara Echegoyen will seek to build on her unbeaten record on the opening day when they defeated the World #1 and #2 Anna Tunnicliffe (USA) and Lucy Macgregor (GBR).
