Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship 2006

The website for the Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship 2006 taking place in Weymouth, Great Britain from 12-21 July has been unveiled during the current Championship in Busan, Korea.

The Royal Yachting Association's Organization Team for the ISAF Youth Worlds in Weymouth, John FRIEND, John DERBYSHIRE and Rob ANDREWS, have been in Busan observing the current ISAF Youth Worlds as guests of the Koreans. They have also been presenting information to the competing nations' team leaders and coaches on the 2006 Championship.

The 36th Championship could seen as the perfect stepping stone onto a full blown 2012 Olympic campaign, with the ISAF Youth Worlds taking place at the same venue and on the same waters as those to be used in 2012.
