This year their team features an equal mixture of ISAF Youth World rookies and competitors from last year in Gdynia, Poland.
Kyunghwan LEE finished 16 in the windsurfer boys event in 2004 and will be aiming to build on that experience in an event that has so far given Asian nations their greatest success. The other experienced members of the Korean team come in the two double-handed dinghy events. Hawewn LIM and Youngmi KIM return for their second ISAF Youth Worlds after last year finishing 24.
Soohyung SEO and Sungmin CHO will enter this year's Championship as one of Korea's biggest hopes for their inaugural medal. Last year the pair ended up in tenth place overall after sailing an inconsistent series which included six top five finishes. If SEO and CHO can remove some of the mistakes that cost them dear in Gdynia then they could find themselves right amongst the battle for honours on their home waters.
The Korean Youth World Team:
The team will be lead by Soonahn JOO with Sangseok KIM and Dongwoo LEE as coaches.
