Taking place on Tuesday 8 November 2005 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore, the evening will be hosted by a renowned international sailor and will recognize and honour the outstanding achievements of those male and female sailors shortlisted for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards 2005.

The winners will not be announced until the Awards Presentation.

The evening opens with a champagne reception, followed by a dinner featuring traditional Singaporean cuisine and the Awards Presentation.

Tickets must be booked with the ISAF Secretariat prior to the ISAF Annual Conference using the Official Ticket Order Form which is available at www.sailing.org/worldsailor/2005ticketorderform.doc.

Nominations close on 1 September 2005 after which details of the shortlisted sailors will be announced on the ISAF website. Anyone may nominate a sailor provided that sailor has met the simple criteria of 'outstanding achievement during the period 1 September 2004 through to 31 August 2005'.
