Vacancy On Planning And Environmental Committee

RYA News

The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) are looking for a volunteer to participate in the work of the RYA's Planning and Environmental Committee.

The Committee is extremely active, following and inputting into a variety of issues including the British Government's proposed Marine Bill, offshore energy developments, changes to the planning system, the plethora of shoreline, coastal and flood defence management plans and promoting the latest RYA environmental initiative The Green Blue.

The RYA are looking for a candidate with recent experience of planning/ environmental matters on coastal/ inland to compliment our existing committee members. They meet four times a year generally at RYA House which is located close to Southampton Airport or in London. Applicants are welcome from all areas of Great Britain.
