SetONE To Provide Worldwide TV Pictures

ISAF World Sailing Games 2006

Sailing media specialists SetONE have been chosen as the official media partner of the ISAF World Sailing Games and will be responsible for sending picture from Lake Neusiedl, Austria to the world come the start of the Championship on 10 May next year.

With around 1,500 sailors from 70 nations expected to take part, there looks set to be plenty of action to capture. The Cologne media service provider, with its unprecedented TV network, will be able to offer global TV pictures similar to those of the American BMW Oracle Racing team and its preparations for the 32nd America's Cup.

'This is an ideal addition to our portfolio as a media enterprise operating internationally,' said Stefan R. SAUERWALD managing director of SetONE, 'and also an attractive task.' The ISAF World Sailing Games 2006 at Lake Neusiedl will be the first to take place in a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site with the event motto 'Sport in Harmony with Environment and Nature' emphasising this.

Kolomon WATZEK, general manager of the ISAF World Sailing Games 2006, is looking forward to working with SetONE. He commented, 'the ISAF World Sailing Games have decided in favour of the most competent partner as a sailing picture specialist and are in the same capable hands as the America's Cup.
