PREDIERI Takes Over As Acting President

International 470 Class Association News

At the General Council meeting on 15-16 October in Austria, it was decided that Alberto PREDIERI (ITA) will take over as Acting President of the International 470 Class Association, due to the poor health of previous President Darren DUNKLEY-SMITH (AUS).

17 of the 19 council members of the class association were present at the meeting and voted unanimously to declare the vacancy of the office of President, with PREDIERI taking over as Acting President until the next General Assembly meeting of the International 470 Class Association to be held in 2006.

All the members present at the meeting wished Darren a speedy recovery.
