Flying Junior World Championship 2005
Lake Dümmer, Germany

After twelve races at the Flying Junior World Championship on Lake Dümmer, Germany competition came to an end over the weekend with Peter WANDERS and Gisa WORTBERG taking the 2005 World title.
The German pair sailed a dominant regatta, eventually taking the title by 18 points and scoring six bullets along the way.

Second place went to the Japanese team of Kentaro INAMURA and Taishi FUNO, who sailed an excellent final three races to finish the regatta in style with two bullets and a second. Germany also took third with Sebastian and Jessica LIER recovering from an early DSQ and OCS to overtake fellow German's Thorsten WILLEMSEN and Barbara GRUBENBECHER.
