The Ora wind blew regularly yesterday morning at 13-15 knots, giving the chance of the first starting signal at 1330. The gold fleet (the first 54 crews after qualifying series) begun and were followed a few minutes later by the silver fleet.
The RAHIER brother hold the lead despite a bad finish to the day going OCS in race nine and finishing 27th in the following race. Ireland's RUMBALL and MORAN are now just a single point behind the leaders after a sixth, a fourth and a bullet yesterday. After finishes of 15,5,9 MASON and SCHIEBER are still right amongst the hunt for medals, one point behind RUMBALL and MORAN.
MILLS and WEBSTER scored a bullet in yesterday's first race, slipped to 25th in race nine before confirming their leading girls status with a forth in the final race.
The final two races of the Championship are scheduled for today with the crews due on the water at 1200.
