Canadian Yachting Association News

The Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) is pleased to announce that High Performance Director Ken DOOL has been appointed the principal staff liaison with ISAF.
In addition to his current role with the COC, Ken will also represent CYA interests with the Canadian Paralympic Committee. He will continue to play a vital role in our relationship with Sport Canada working in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer of the CYA.

The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) recently named Ken recipient of the 2004 Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Award. Ken was awarded this honour for his work with Star sailors Ross MACDONALD and Mike WOLFS (who won the Silver medal at the Olympics this year in Athens), but he's been coaching the national team for 12 years and these Olympic Games were his fourth. Ken has sailed almost every boat known to humankind giving him an extensive knowledge of sailing and coaching
