In the mixed Laser Radial fleet, Olympian Shen XIAOYING (CHN) is begining to show her class, moving up from seventh to second overall on equal points with Sangkyu KIM (KOR) and taking her first bullet in race 4. Silver medallist at the Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship Xu LIJIA (CHN) is also making her way up the leaderboard after taking the bullet in the first race and then an OCS in the second, she now moves up to fifth overall after a solid second day.
There is still a tie at the top of the ISAF Grade 3 Laser fleet with Chi QIANG (CHN) and Cai QIUSHUI (CHN) now each having eight points, made up of a bullet, two seconds and a third each..
In the Laser 4.7 fleet Waleed AL SHARSHANI (QAT) has taken over the lead from Al Dosari MOHANNA (BRN) after taking two more bullets today. Damrongsak VONGTIM and Sakda VONGTIM (THA) also picked up two more bullets in the Hobie 16 fleet which they continue to lead.
A perfect score for the day was also claimed by Li XUE and Yu YANLI (CHN) in the women's 470 fleet and they take over the lead from Liying TOH and Lee Ching TOK (SIN). Sarah TAN and Tze Ting LIM (SIN) faired better in the women's 420 fleet and maintain their lead. Wen Chun LOW and Yuan SHEN TANG (SIN) have taken over the lead of the men's 420 fleet with Roy TAY and Pei Ming CHUNG (SIN) moving above Dae Young KIM and Sungahn JUNG (KOR) in the men's 470.
Wai Kei CHAN (HKG) is looking even more solid at the top of the women's Mistral rankings and has extended her lead to seven points aheard of Tansai NAPALAI (THA) whilst in the men's heavy division Ho Chi HO (HKG) has jumped ahead of I Gusti Made Oka SULAKSANA (INA) to set them up for another exciting cometition.
