Racing will take place at Marina del Rey, just west of Los Angeles from 2-7 July, with registration, boat allocation and measurement taking place from 27-29 July. Two races are scheduled for each day, and the closing date for entries 21 June.
Sailors entering before 7 June benefit from a reduced entry fee. For more on the entry details visit the International Laser Radial Class Association microsite - www.laserinternational.org/WRad06/index.htm.
Last year World number one Paige RAILEY (USA) took the World title in Fortaleza, Brazil to cap a dominant year in the Laser Radial. As it moves into its second year as the Olympic equipment for the Women's One Person Dinghy event, the competition is strengthening however, although sailing on her home waters, RAILEY will start as a strong favourite in California.
