Eugeniy NEUGODNIKOV (RUS) enjoyed the excellent conditions on the third day of the ISAF Grade 1 Yava Trophy to lead the way into the semi-finals in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Good wind and sun greeted the competitors for the end of the round robin in Russia, with NEUGODNIKOV winning all his remaining flights to lead through to the quarter-final round robin, which he also went on to win.

Fellow Russians Eugeniy NIKIFOROV (RUS) and Andrew ARBUZOV (RUS) also had good days and fought their way through the quarter-final round to take their place in the semis alongside NEUGODNIKOV. The final semi-final place went to Australia's Neville WITTEY, after he scored victories over both Sergey MUSIKHIN (RUS) and Pierre-Antoine MORVAN (FRA).
