With eight of twelve races sailed Timothy SEET (SIN) and his compatriot Sean LEE (SINB) are battling it out for the lead separated by five points. But the two Malaysians, Rufina TAN and Faizani BIN YAHAYA have moved into third and fourt,h as the early leader Griselda KHNG (SIN) had a poor day ending with an OCS.

Today the individual championship is suspended to hold the South American Team Racing Championship which is, perhaps fortunately, confined to South American teams. Open teams take part in the Copa de Naciones.
