South African Sailing News

Respected Cape based sailor Dave HUDSON has taken the bull by the horns and brought top British youth coach Adam BOWERS to the shores of South Africa. HUDSON is looking at a long term strategy for young sailors, and has asked BOWERS to conduct a flying visit to offer his perceptions and ideas for South African sailing.

HUDSON and BOWERS will be up in the Northvaal region as well as in Durban, having already been very busy in the Cape. Before BOWERS leaves South African shores he will present HUDSON with a report, which South African Sailing (SAS) can use as a guide into the future. There is huge value in listening to what an experienced coach like BOWERS has to say, especially with SAS's new motto 'SAS Listens'. To find out when BOWERS will be in your neck of the woods, contact your regional SAS office.
