Two teams were OCS in Race 3, Luo YOUJIA nd Xiuke CHEN (CHN) and Vincenzo SORRENTINO and Giorgio COLOMBO (ITA) but the rest of the fleet got away. The left side of the course was the way to go and once again Roman HAGARA and Hans Peter STEINACHER (AUT) lead the way with no competition to cross the line one minute and a half ahead of second placed Andrey KIRILYUK and Valery USHKOV (RUS). Toni RIVAS & Fabian ESCUDE (ESP) and Darren BUNDOCK and Glenn ASHBY (AUS) finished third and fourth consecutively.
The Race Committee end of the start line for Race 4 was very busy and jammed. Yann GUICHARD and Alexandre GUYADER (FRA) were thrown towards the back of the committee boat and didn't make it to the starting line. The same happened to the Russians KIRILYUK and USHKOV who still managed to restart behind the whole fleet and finished 31st.
