Two teams were OCS in Race 3, Luo YOUJIA nd Xiuke CHEN (CHN) and Vincenzo SORRENTINO and Giorgio COLOMBO (ITA) but the rest of the fleet got away. The left side of the course was the way to go and once again Roman HAGARA and Hans Peter STEINACHER (AUT) lead the way with no competition to cross the line one minute and a half ahead of second placed Andrey KIRILYUK and Valery USHKOV (RUS). Toni RIVAS & Fabian ESCUDE (ESP) and Darren BUNDOCK and Glenn ASHBY (AUS) finished third and fourth consecutively.

The Race Committee end of the start line for Race 4 was very busy and jammed. Yann GUICHARD and Alexandre GUYADER (FRA) were thrown towards the back of the committee boat and didn't make it to the starting line. The same happened to the Russians KIRILYUK and USHKOV who still managed to restart behind the whole fleet and finished 31st.

The Billy BESSON and Arnaud JARLEGAN were the leaders this time and the fleet stayed close together for two upwind legs. The French opened the lead on the second downwind and had no problems getting the bullet. BUNDOCK and ASHBY were second followed by HAGARA and STEINACHER, who are now the leaders of the Regatta. BUNDOCK and ASHBY hold on to the second overall place.

' We decided to start clean at the pin, together with the Australians, and that made all the difference', explained BESSON, winner of Race 4. They now move up to fourth overall.

The Olympic bronze medallists Santiago LANGE and Carlos ESPINOLA (ARG), made a come back and crossed the line in fourth, after an exciting finish head to head with Quingdao winners French Olivier Backes and Paul Ambroise SEVESTRE (FRA).

After a consistent performance in yesterday's races, Xavier REVIL and Christophe ESPAGNON (FRA) had a difficult day with a 22nd and a 24th and are now seventh overall.
