Tempest World Championship 2006

Philippe BOITE and Regis VIATEUR (FRA) dominated the Tempest World Championship contested in very good conditions in Martinique, recording a perfect nine bullets to take the title. Mario SUTER and Christophe MUERI (SUI) won a close battle for the silver medal.
Behind BOITE and VIATEUR, the battle for medals went right the way to the final race. SUTER and MUERI secured silver with a solid 4,3,2 finish, just holding off the challenge from Gerhard ALBRECHT and Hausjörj SCHAFER (GER), who took bronze with a third place in the final race.
