Mooloolaba Yacht Club is well known for hosting efficient, successful and enjoyable international events and, being organized in conjunction with Yachting Queensland, the Australian Youth Championships will be no exception.
For the first time, online entries are possible, through Yachting Australia's event website.
Yachting Australia CEO Phil JONES recently welcomed aboard major sponsor Juniper Development Group. 'We are delighted to have Juniper partner us in this prestigious event and look forward to working with them to make this the most successful and enjoyable Australian Youth Championship ever.
'Mooloolaba and its Yacht Club are world renown for hosting excellent regattas and we are pleased that Juniper will be involved with the region's signature sport.'
Juniper marketing manager David KORTLANG said the company was pleased to be supporting such a great event for Mooloolaba.
'Mooloolaba is an ideal yachting destination with its boating waters and marina facilities complemented by the vibrant lifestyle attractions of The Esplanade,' he said.
'Juniper has played a leading role in establishing The Esplanade as a world class tourist destination and our new Oceans resort will be the premier address to relax, entertain and view the racing action.'
The Australian International 420 Championships will be held at Mooloolaba YC from 27 December-4 January and has also attracted strong interest from international competitors.
